INDO
– A Guarantee of Quality
As
with other agricultural products like olive oil and Spanish ham, Spanish
wine goes through a rigorous quality control process from The Instituto
Nacional de Denominaciones de Origin (INDO).
The
INDO’s goal is to make sure all agricultural products, including
wine, that have the DO (Denominación de Origin) label on their
bottles have been inspected by the INDO. The INDO, by putting this label
on the bottles, insures the origin of the product as well as its production
methods and materials.
